Idaho Falls Freedom Celebration
By IdahoFallsRealEstateSource.com

Every year as July approaches, the Idaho Falls area is trembling with excitement for the upcoming 4th of July celebration.  The day’s events are kicked off at 9:30 a.m. by the annual Independence Day parade that begins at the Civic Auditorium and ends at Tautphaus Park.  This event attracts over 30,000 people from all over the world.

Following the parade you can take a stroll along the greenbelt of the famous Snake River and continue to enjoy the festivities.  Food, business, and craft vendors will be lined up offering a wide variety of goodies for all to enjoy.  Non-profit organizations from all over southeast Idaho will provide games, activities, amusement rides, a rock-climbing wall, and many other fun contests for the whole family to join in on.

Last, but certainly not least, the largest fireworks display west of the Mississippi takes place right here along the beautiful banks of the Snake River at dusk.  Now in its sixteenth year, this famous choreographed culmination of fireworks draws a crowd of over 100,000 and is easily the most anticipated event of the day.  During the spectacular show, attendees can listen to a beautiful broadcast of patriotic music and narration on KLCE 97.3.  This is all sponsored by one of Idaho Falls most successful businesses, Melaleuca.

Pack your sunscreen and get ready for a day full of awesome activities, great food, and spectacular fireworks here in the beautiful city of Idaho Falls.
