At Home in Ammon

Ammon, Idaho is a quaint little suburb located right in the backyard of Idaho Falls. In 2000 the census quoted it as having a little over 6,000 residents. However, due to the recent high growth, the area has since tripled in size. With the recent real estate development boom, the doors have now been opened for a flood of various economic and entertainment options. These have been a huge asset to the greater Idaho Falls communities and its residents.

Where farmland once stood, there are now diverse neighborhoods ranging from middle class up to some of the most prestigious subdivisions and highest priced homes in southeast Idaho. The more popular areas of development are in neighborhoods like Comore Loma, Blackhawk, and Quailridge Estates. In these areas, buyers can find homes priced anywhere from $500,000 to over $2 million.

Commercial real estate has also made its mark in this once quiet little community. Numerous restaurants, theaters, and department stores have now made Ammon their home. It’s easy to see why flocks of people are moving here from all over the country. The pace is a little bit slower, but still has the feel of an up and coming metro area.
