Swan Valley is a hidden treasure just 30 minutes out of Idaho Falls.  While still part of Bonneville County, it's only a short 45 minutes to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone National Park.  The valley is part of the Yellowstone ecosystem, which is home to the largest elk and Rocky Mountain big horn herds in the country.  With the surrounding mountains and peaceful river bottoms, Swan Valley has some of the most gorgeous real estate available anywhere in Idaho.

Swan Valley and the surrounding areas including Irwin and Palisades are quickly becoming a world famous destination for sportsmen and outdoor enthusiasts.  The population increases from around 400 to 4,000 from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  Being nestled along the banks of the South Fork of the Snake River, the area is known as one of the best dry-fly fisheries in North America.

Whether your plans include fishing for native Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout, floating the river, horseback riding, hunting, or going for a snowmobile ride; there are plenty of activities in this beautiful scenic valley for all to enjoy.
